About the colour: International Four Day Marches green
The International Four Day Marches Nijmegen is the largest multiple day marching event in the world. It is organised every year in mid-July since 1916. Participants walk 30, 40 or 50 kilometers daily, and, on completion, receive a royally approved medal (Vierdaagsekruis) with a ribbon in the same colours as the flag of the event.
