About the colour: Bossche school red

Dom Hans van der Laan (1904 - 1991) was a Benedictine monk and architect. He was one of the leading figures of the Bossche School, a traditionalist movement in Dutch architecture. His ideas about space experience and harmonic dimensional relationships had great influence. For the furniture and architecture of the Bossche school, he defined a modest and balanced series of colours. This medium dark shade of pink-red is one of those.
