About the colour: Florentijn Hofman aardvark red
Artist Florentijn Hofman from Arnhem, internationally famous for his giant Rubber Ducks, made a 30 meter long concrete aardvark that can be climbed upon and interacted with. It was a gift to Arnhem commissioned by the Burgers’ Zoo in celebration of its 100th anniversary in 2013. The 'Party Aardvark' as the joyful sculpture is called, is the biggest artwork in the country.
