About the color: Pine cone
The name Aerdenhout comes from 'Den Anderen Hout' – the other wood. This distinguishes the forest area from the nearby Haarlemmerhout. Aerdenhout is known for its villas with their beautiful location in the woods surrounding the village itself. These forests largely consist of old pine trees, which were planted there about 100 years ago.
