About the coolour: Fire bucket red
Red is the prominent colour in the coat of arms of Enschede, but we specifically chose fire bucket red because the city of Enschede suffered 3 devastating fires in the past. Fire was also the biggest enemy of the many textile factories that brought wealth to the city. The local history Museum TwentseWelle has some original fire buckets from the former factories in its collection, red metal ones and even very old leather ones.
